Falcons host annual summer barbeque

The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced last week they will host their first annual "Falcons Summer Barbeque" on Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 4-10:00 PM at the West Springfield/Agawam Elks located on 429 Morgan Road in West Springfield. The event, which will be attended by head coach Steve Stirling, will be an exclusive barbeque for season ticket holders and corporate partners.

"This is an event we are very excited about because it gives us a chance to say thank you to our season ticket holders and corporate partners," said Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon. "We want to thank Friendly's Ice Cream for providing the food as we prepare for an exciting 2006-07 season."

Falcons' staff members will be serving the free food provided by Friendly's Ice Cream and entertainment will be provided by D.J. Joe Rossi.

The Falcons are currently accepting deposits on full, half, and 10-game season ticket packages for the 2006-07 season, in addition to 40 and 10-Flex Packs. For more information please contact the Falcons office at 413-739- 3344.
