An open letter of gratitude

On Monday evening, May 1, 2006, the Wilbraham UNICO sponsored a fundraising dinner hosted by Il Giardino restaurant on Boston Road in Wilbraham, MA.

The object of their distinguished attention: The Ultimate Party, Minnechaug Regional High School's alcohol-free, drug-free, danger-free, post graduation all-night-long celebration.

Run entirely by volunteers and funded by private contributions, The Ultimate Party is now in its 14th year of operation. With the combined community spirit exhibited by both the Wilbraham UNICO and Il Giardino, over eighty guests enjoyed the fabulous Porchetta, a traditional Italian pork dinner with all of the fixings.

The food and service were impeccable, the company sparkling and the evening warmed by the kindness of the Wilbraham UNICO whose commitment to The Ultimate Party and to the safety of our children was inspiring noting their major contribution check. We are also deeply appreciative of the management and kitchen staff of Il Giardino restaurant who graciously hosted this event; do stop by Il Giardino restaurant for delicious Italian dinning. To the Wilbraham UNICO and its members, to the management and staff of Il Giardino, to our dinner guests and Mrs. Kathy Nelen who especially coordinated this event, The Ultimate Party Committee extends our most sincere thanks and appreciation.
