Veterans treated to Christmas party The West Springfield Department of Veterans Services hosted a Christmas Party for local veterans Dec. 13 at Riverdale Gardens. Each of the veterans received a gift of a blanket and toiletries from the American Legion Post 207. The veterans and other residents were treated to snacks and joined visitors in singing a number of Christmas carols, led by Anthony Di Giore.
