"365 Days of Christmas...Each Year" by Robert Mantzke is a fun Christmas musical showing God's love...all through the year. MS FUNDRAISER
MS fundraiser Dec. 10, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Coughlin's Place, 182 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Crafts, baked goods, Chinese auction and messages.
SENIOR FRIENDSHIP CLUB
The East Longmeadow Senior Friendship Club welcomes you and some furry friends from "The Lupa Zoo" when they hold their weekly meeting on Thursday, December 7th at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St. A luncheon of American Chop Suey with meatballs, carrots, salad, cake and ice cream will be served. Please call 525-5436 for reservations at least one day in advance.
NEW ADULT JAZZ EXERCISE/DANCE CLASS
Dance off those holiday pounds when you sign up for our NEW Jazz Exercise/Dance Class for adults of all ages, beginning Thursday, Dec. 14th at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St., from 5:00 5:45 p.m. Cost is $35 for six weeks, with a $5 discount for seniors. Bring an exercise mat and/or large towel. Pre-registration in the Senior Center office required.
MANAGING STRESS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Holidays can bring added stress to many people, especially those who are alone or dealing with difficult situations. The Pleasant View Senior Center and East Village Place will conduct a seminar on this topic on Wednesday, December 6th from 9:30 10:30 a.m. at the Senior Center, 328 North Main St. Free and open to the public.
CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS
The East Longmeadow Fire Dept. has received another shipment of free carbon monoxide detectors to be distributed to East Longmeadow seniors 65 and older, who did not receive one at the previous distribution. Distribution date is Tuesday, December 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the East Longmeadow Fire House on 150 Somers Rd. Each household will receive one detector. Seniors who have already received a free carbon monoxide detector should not come to this distribution.
FALCONS HOCKEY GAME
The East Long. Rec. Dept. announces the next "Falcons Rec. Night" will be held on Dec. 27 with Hartford. Game time is 7:05 p.m. at the MassMutual Center. special discounted tickets for this Game of $10 ($1 goes back to Rec. Dept.). Come into the Rec. Dept. Mon., 8 a.m. -4 p.m. to register.
HIGH SCHOOL REC. BASKETBALL
The East Long. Rec. Dept. announces that there is still time for E. Long High School students to register for our H.S. Rec. Basketball League. Games begin in January. Those in grades 9-12 are eligible. Come into the Rec. Dept. 8 a.m. 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri. to register.
