In Need of Hospice Volunteers

BaystateVNA & Hospice is in need of Hospice Volunteers to provide office support. Many people would like to help the Hospice Program but feel they are not able to make visits to the terminally ill. There are many opportunities for volunteer work in the office that would support the work of hospice. At this time there is a special need for people who are able to use the computer. There is also a need for people that are comfortable answering the telephone calls from patients and family members. A few hours a week would help the program in a very meaningful way. Plenty of support, training and comradeship will be provided as you volunteer your time to this worthwhile cause. The Baystate VNA & Hospice office is located at 50 Maple Street in Springfield.

Contact Caroline Stanton, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator at 827-4472 for an interview.
